Switching hiragana to kanji

Hey guys,

I've bought a kid's book in japanese only because it was pretty cheap. I found a phrase and I really wanted it to be with kanji instead of hiragana.
Here's the sentence:
ある日、ハンポは、おなかいっぱいごちそうを食べと、 川べにねころんで、日なたぼっこしていました。


Could you please help me by switching the hiragana words (of course there are words which are not used in hiragana, I know) to kanji ones, please?

One easy way to do that is to type the sentence in hiragana in word then press space key. Windows will then convert the hiragana to kanji.

I think 食べと should be 食べたあと

Or, it might be a misread of 食べて or 食べると.
