Sort of sad that nobody talks of anything but Visual...

Transvestites crossdress. Transsexuals are more along the lines of transgender, the difference is a transsexual becomes a transgender after the operation.

Yeah...My bad

i got tired of selecting stuff for quote marks in this thread, because i agreed with most of this so much
but i like this the best (right now)
"probably because this area of the forum is horribly polluted with fangirls too lazy to search for other artists"

i already gave up months ago
good luck to those who stick around
point of fact: saturday night i took two japanese people to a rave. while there, asking them what kind of music they liked -- mr. children
i don't even know this cat/group. time to start digging
thought it was all about guitar wolf or polysics. unh

well, at least fangirls are nice people
but hey, im always picking up songs of artists new to me who i think are interesting and that others recommend.
and wats worng with being loyal to one artist? i dont have to research new artists if i dont want to.

there are a few artists i really love so i talk about them. so eat it.

Such, is the remark of a 'nice fangirl'.

Anyway, the issue with people limiting their field of vision when it comes to music, is there are many people who will for example, proclaim their undying devotion and love to a field of music like Visual kei, and j-music in general, while condemning other fields.

This in and of itself isnt the big problem. The big deal is when those said devotees preach their love, and the only bands they listen to are 2 or 3 in the entire field.

yes i like j-rock, and also other kinds of music. if it's good, i listen to it. thats really "limiting my field of vison when it comes to music". since this is a j-pop board, i talk about the things i like about j-music. and yes i am willing to listen to other j-bands and im starting to widen my collection of j-music.

um well fangirls which i have met are really nice, unlike some other nagging a**hole *cough*winter*cough*

Well d, either you didnt read my post, or didnt understand it.

the way you said things were confusing

Hey, there's nothing wrong with not understanding something someone says. But before you type up your misguided remarks based off of half-understood comments, just ask for a little clarification; maybe an explaination I can give you will allow you understand that I'm not always trying to insult you in particular, so you wont have to feel that you always have to jump on the defensive by splurging out the best insults you can muster up.

not trying to insult me in particular...meaning that it's a group of people but i am included? wats the difference?

Its just a turn of phrase, yeesh, calm down for a minute okay?

My point is I was not trying to put you down. Got it?

sure, and i am calm

*sips tea*

lalala.......

oh ya, dude who started this thread: you can always start non-viusal kei threads you know...

I wanna be a famous "crazy" visual j-rocker though... no matter how ugly they are, they've got about a million girls that'll put out for them and think they just hit the best piece of flesh in the world if they get to.

Ugly famous people look fantastic

Honestly, there'd be no point as the one or two threads I would start up would only be swallowed up by the 1,000 + VK threads that would start up tomorrow.

First off, my whole point was to state my disdain for what the J-Pop forum has become, not post 1,000 + posts to counteract the 1.000 + VK posts. By stating my opinion, I was hoping that others would share that feeling and maybe do their own interests in their own posts. Instead, I still get VK fans falling on their swords in support of VK, some jackoff insulting gays and calling me a 'crossdressing fudgepacker', 4 people pissing off Winter, Twisted's desires to become the harem leader of some fangirl cult and someone telling me that I can start a non-VK post. (Which, I could have figured that out on my own, but thanks.......)

Well, I can say this...

I give up.

Ant

maybe is just that vk is THAT good that we defend it so much...

btw the anti-gay comment was not cool dude

The point have been said several times. There are so many people here who like VK, and that's why this forum talks of it most of the time. I like J-rock, but I don't like VK so much and only stay with L'Arc~en~Ciel, Dir en Grey and Lareine mostly.

I've created some threads refering to other groups/singers, but there's no so much interest. It doesn't matter of course, because for what I like I go to other forums and other sites that talk mostly of what I like the most. I guess that's why I haven't posted so much, but visit often.

No, it really isn't that good to defend it so vehemently. In fact, I feel that VK will collapse upon itself soon.

Oh yeah, you do realise I wasn't the one who made the gay comment, right? Read my post on the first page.

You know, you don't need to have a capital at the beginning of each word in a terribly fragmented sentence, right?

That all you got? Face it, I made you dance. ******!

i kno wut u mean about the visual kei, but i noticed alot of ppl turnin their backs on dir en grey, because theyre not exactly as visual kei as they used to be. personally i dont care, im more interested in the music than how they look. diru is still an amazing band as they used to be, and alot of non-visual kei bands are really good too. ppl are just...weird....

sorry, but are saying u like visual kei or no? im confuzzled.

anyways ya dir en grey is great no matter wat they wear. but i have to say it's always interesting to see wat the hell kyo has on his face.

What a nice popcorn topic this has turned into

To stay ontopic: I agree with the topicstarter about the statement in his first post. The more VK related topics are opened, the less people who are interested in other sorts of J-music will post and the less interesting this forum will get. Looks like a downward spiral to me, but if that's the way it is, that's the way it is. But I do think it's a shame.

I'm not much into VK either... I actually like their clothes but I hate the way they sing @_@ The J-rock vibrato, I can't stand it.

Shiina Ringo is cool, though I don't know many J-rock bands, the other one I like is The Brilliant Green. Their music is great when you're feeling too hyper for your own good

If anyone knows any good bands, please share!
