Some claims against Obama

Is thisl like Obama in 2008 running against the Patriot Act, he expanded it. That use of drones? He uses them more than Bush. Gitmo? It's still open. The individual mandate for health insurance? He signed the Affordable Care Act which requires the mandate. Gay marriage? He was against in 2008 now is ok with it.

I would like to stick to these claims about Obama and nothing else if possible.

Are these claims true?

I ask because it seems to me that Obama gets a free pass with so many. I have mostly seen Obama as the lesser evil, so it disturbs me when he is treated as a saint.

Obama's done some good, but the biggest problem he has is how much he's like George Bush Jr.

As for him being treated as a saint, well, I read lots of right wing posters all over the place saying that, but I haven't seen anyone treat him that way. Generally, he's considered issue by issue, and has ample criticism from left-wing media. His drone strikes against Americans is a perfect example. Calling him the messiah or whatever is simply a Fox talking point.

Its an exaggeration. But I don't fault them for interpreting silence as adoration. Bush got lambasted by the left, and for good reason. Relatively speaking, the hypocrisy is overwhelming.
