Hey everyone!

I believe passion is what keeps us alive, what gives us strenght to go on, no matter what.
What is your passion? What makes your heart shiver in overwhelming emotions? What can you not leave without?

For me, languages and travelling. I just can't get enough. The world is just so big. These great passions of mine have brought me to who I am today, I have travelled so much, and still so little and I have devoted my life to learning languages and experiencing the countries to which I travelled. Next will be Japan and Japanese.

So...what is YOUR passion?

Hummm?? Not sure? Passion or addiction?

Since I retired early with only Social Security for my retirement , I've become obsessed with winning the lottery. I go out twice a week to buy my tickets (6 a week for $10US). I spend hours daydreaming what I will do with my millions. The numbers drawings are at 11PM at night. I usually wake up about 2 or 3 AM ,turn on the PC to see if I won.I spend hours on the computer looking for new homes to buy or fancy vehicles to own. I have a big list of charities I plan to give to. Also , I have a list of all my relatives and how much to give them. I dream about places to visit and things to do once rich. Maybe it comes from being poor and having too much time on my hands? Funny, I use to hate that my dad gambled all the time and now here I am hooked on it.

He-he ... don't have any. Passion is a pattern, pattern is a frequency, frequensy is an insanity. Tryin' tobe free of any ...
However, despite of my efforts to run out of all patterns, I have two: I am a liar and I am a runner. ewww ...

I am interested in geography and meteorology
and also astronomy
I started to read geography books and watch weather news and reports when i was 8 years

Besides looking at beautiful women I enjoy traveling, watching movies, various sports and reading books.

Just these days I have been too busy with work that I haven't really had the time to enjoy those things (except for the first one :devilish:) . I would love to pick up a good book and just enjoy reading that for the whole day.

I also enjoy designing things and visiting exhibitions (which I haven't done for ages).

Besides looking at beautiful women...

I guess that's more of an instinct than an obsession... ;-)

My foremost obsession: JREF of course! And lately a renewed interest in photography that currently tops even cycling.

Awesome guys! So many different interests!!!

drinking booze, apart from chatting with mates and being round the gods of nature it be one of few things that give me any sort of happiness, i drink beer, rum and coke, rum and black, a nip of rum on its own, vodka and blueberry, vodka and cranberry and peach schnapps, cider

i also feel good knowing the gods will one day let me die and move on to the summerland

i love walking in the countryside, i feel the gods of nature surround me in there love, i know i am one of there beloved sons, a child of nature and that feels good, all me life they have told me i belong within nature by making me feel the countryside is where i truly belong, i like to feel me beloved gods i worship, i know now being a pagan is me true religion, me dear pagan friend has shown me the light and let me understand the gods

For me, its golf. I love golf because its such a huge challenge. You have to be so very precise in order to play well and almost no matter what you do, theres always ways that you could be better, so its something that keeps me inspired and motived to work on and get better at.
Even when I have a horrible round of golf where I suck and I ask myself why I play that stupid game, I'll have that one shot that I hit perfectly and its like, "Oh yeah, THATS why I play this game". Then, of course, it usually makes me ask myself that question, "so why cant I do that every time?"

@ GaijinGolfer

Awesome! I have never really tried it by I can see you are really passionate about it!

My main passions are for cooking and traveling. I used to be a Sous Chef at a Mediterranean restaurant a few years back but stopped due to massive hours it takes to run a restaurant. I still cook at home though. And I'm at my best when I'm somewhere new and foreign to me. Hearing different languages, eating the local food and meeting the people are amazing. Plus it's a bonus when I meet a nice local girl to spend some time with :)
