Have anybody ancestor or grand-parent have a experience in this war?

WWII now is so long ago. If a seventeen year old lied about his age to get into combat as late as 1945, he would be 80 years old now. Most computer users are younger people.
I doubt if any users here are over 60.

Many of our grandparents were around during the war. I had distant relatives that fought on both sides. One was a tail gunner in he US Army Air Corps in Europe and died when his bomber was shot in half. Another was in the Japanese Imperial navy as an enlisted pilot and he vanished.

As time goes by and the war is more and more ancient history. Best it is so desho.

I just do not understand why so many chinese and korean do not want to let the antagonism vanish. maybe their hatred is due to the uncivilized massacre, rape, and sexual slaves, but japanese has changed, dont they?

however the hatred is not linked with how many years has past or the fact whether they have participated in the bloody war...... it is totally ridiculous.
