Does anyone know around the exact date when Full metal Alchemist aired on Adult Swim? I need to know because I am trying to figure out the exact date in which I became absorbed by Japan. And I want it to be more specific too. Can you tell me the exact date that they aired episode 3 on Adult swim?

yumeitsumo - I tried to find the original airdate and came up with 2nd October 2005.
I have a long list of decent anime and manga and would be happy to discuss them with you if you are interested?

One of my faves happens to be Trinity Blood, but there are others which are equally as good if not better such as Bleach.

Yuri is good - and there are a load of titles out there. Try Wikipedia for the titles and see if they are on Barnes & Noble. You never know.
Revolutionary Girl Utena is a rather popular Yuri, as is Strawberry Panic.
Red or Dream, Maria-sama ga - Miteru, Yajikita Gakuen Douchuuki, Ichigo Mashimaru, Transistor ni Venus, Bakuretsu Tenshi, Yuri Monogatari 3, Iono the Fanatics, Yuri Hime and Hayate Cross Blade to name but a few.

Hey Yume. I love FMA too. I don't think its a bad first anime to love! It was one of my first favs, although Cowboy Bebop was the first I really watched and fell for.
Who's your favorite character in FMA? I have a hard time deciding there are so many.

Actually Ergo Proxy and blood+ were pretty good. FMA was very cool too.

They all had character development which I value a lot in any genre of story.
