searching for my mom in japan

i would like any information on how to find people in japan. the only information i have on her is she is from Tokyo.

i know her name and date of birth but that is all i have to work with my father was in the navy anything i search in the us ie the hospital i was born in only tells me her address where she lived in California but my parents were divorced in japan i believe in 1974

That's very different from "the only information I have is she is from Tokyo".

You may wish to hire some private investigation firm to search for her.

yup - throw some money at a pro. - unless she is one of those people that have made active movements to be off-grid, then it wouldn't be very hard to track her down
