Hi,

I am a newbie and like to learn Japanese. Would like to know how to response what someone asked me simple questions like:

仕事は忙しいですか?

体に気をつけて仕事頑張ってね

Thanks for the help.

ok sorry I wasn't specify enough.

ok how do I say:

I am not busy today
I am very busy today

For the second sentence, I am not really understand what it means, perhaps you help suggest how I should response.

Thanks.

今日は忙しくないです (today I am not busy)
今日はとても忙しいです (today I am very busy)

The 2nd sentence basically says "take care [of your body] and do good at work." The "your body" part sounds funky in English, but is fair game in Japanese. はい。頑張ります。 would be a suitable reply.

The first line is asking about your work not about you. So it's saying something like "Do you have a lot to do at work?"

The second line says "Do your best"

Ok thanks Miki-san and Gaijinpunch for your help.
