Rentrer en Soi

I would agree with the recommendation of Sphire-Croid. And Protoplasm. If you could get only one album and one single, I would say get those. (Although I like most of their stuff, those are the ones that really stand out for me.)

I hadn't noticed their feet at all! *sigh* I never wear high heels... I don't feel comfortable in shoes/boots that I can't run in, and climb over walls if necessary. I go for the New Rocks if I need a bit of extra height.

But like PK, I don't care what they wear... they could wear fluorescent flip-flops for all I care.

hm... i did glance at their feet... i just remember telling myself not to look at it again +P its kinda... odd... hahahaha

for anyone that wants it I scanned the Mizu yume miru chouchou cover nice and big cause I'm drawing it. I only have the right side of his face sketched and the butterfly and that took me like 4 hours yesterday... I'm so stupidly slow and a perfectionist. It's gonna be 18x24in I haven't drawn anything so large in a while. Any suggestions on medium(s)? I think watercolor could be nice. :? it helps I had to do a study of butterflies in watercolor in high school

@Kinsao: hey... florescent flip-flops could be uber-sexy on jrockers! You don't even know! :auch: :angryfire

AHHH i cant wait to see it!!!! its soo beautiful =D haha its good to be a perfectionist +D i think watercolor is the best for this... i cant really see it in anything else besides that =P

Yeah, I think watercolour is a good idea!

Haha - I'm sure Miyavi has worn flourescent flip-flops for a photoshoot at some time... I seem to recall... :?... and he wouldn't be the only j-rocker to have stupid footwear!

^^cool pic yea watercolor will look good I think...*nods*

Watercolor it is then!

maybe I should do some practice watercolors... it's been so long since I've done anything in watercolor... I wonder if my paints are still any good.

have fun with that +) i could never work watercolors -_- they're so confusing and hard to use =P

Miyavi has worn lime green flip-flops in a photoshoot before..

Anyways, I ordered Protoplasm and another one of their cd's. I couldn't really find any of them, another thing where can I find their stuff? I've been to their website, but does anyone have a good fan site about them. if it's been posted i'm sorry.

Thank you Kinsao and sorry if i'm being a pain in the butt

There's another good one. The webmistress decided not to continue updating it though. There just aren't enough fansites for them out there. There's lots of French minisites for them though. But those don't get updated either.

I just recently learned of Rentrer en Soi. In fact, it was this forum that brought them to my attention. I was recently in a music store, and I was holding one of their CDs in my hand thinking "To buy, or not to buy?" :? because I'd never heard any of their music. But you all say that Sphire-Croid
and Protoplasm are good buys? Well when I go out again sometime, I might just buy one.

WAHHH u lucky lucky person =) haha i would love to go to a music store and see rentrer en soi stuff on the shelf =D hmmm.. that would be a dream come true =) i totally recommend sphire croid =D that is a MUST GET... protoplasm is nice too... but i only like the that song... the two other remixes are good but. protoplasm is the WOW of that single =)

I've seen a few Rentrer en Soi cd's at a music shoppe here. It does suck that their isn't alot of fan sites about them =/. I've also searched livejournal for a community for rentrer en soi and I found one, but that was it and it hardly ever gets posts in it.

I'd be lucky to even find a music store open around here... everything is still closed around here. I have to get out of here *going insane* Not to mention the air quality here is so poor since the storms... everyone is having lung problems...

*cough anyway* Who has pre-ordered the new single? I can't wait to hear it. I hope they release a sample or something. :?

I haven't pre-ordered it... MUCC has eaten all my money for the next couple of months. (and knowing MUCC, literally eaten... )

Ah, it would be great to have music shops that sold j-rock around these parts, but no such luck... I even tried Ultima Thule (sells weird and wonderful music from many places) but there was not even anything there. By the way, Bunny, it's nice to have someone posting here who actually lives in Japan; gives the inside perspective so to speak!

Yeah. Life in Japan is...interesting to say the least. Yeah, I'm sure it's no fun not being able to find your favorite cds locally. If I could, I would secretly supply everyone's local cd shops with j-rock!! But...if I got caught by the government, then I'd go to jail. That would mean no more music.
@pkk: Are you talking about New Orleans? My mom lived there when she was a young woman, so she remembers New Orleans the way it was before the disaster, and I visited a few years ago. I hope things get better for you all down there!

What cd is Rainy blood on I ask because it says it's from Hajimari no Namida no Oto Ga Kaze Kesareru Yoru ni :?

sorry for the double post guys, I have another question though. Sorry for all of the questions as well. I will get more into discussion when I know more about the band. Anyways, I came across this picture and I was wondering if any of you guys could tell me what it's from and also if there's more pictures from the photoshoot where I could get them :?

I wish I could answer your questions, but sadly my knowledge is bad.

I looked up Rainy Blood to find out what CD it was on... and it says the CD you said, just above it... but then before Rainy Blood it just says Rentrer en Soi, December 25 2001, as though it was a following release... with also Hamon tsutau memai... so...

The site I got that info from was http://blood.space-halo.net/

That's ok because any help is appriciated. With Rainy blood that same thing confused me as well, I was like is it on that cd or was it a single that's why I asked

Ahh... you can supply us anyway... for those hard to get cds you can buy them and mail them to us... LOL. We'll of course pay you.

Yea... that's where I live. It still is a lovely place and there are some places that look untouched by the storms... the air just sucks. I bet I'll get some sort of rare unheard of tropical disease and lung cancer in due time.

Woo... haha. I can't wait for the single. I'm way too excited... I wonder if they'll change their "look" again for this single. :?
