Remittance to Japanese company?

I am going to send payment to a Japanese company, and they requested it via cheque or postal order.

I was wondering if there are any kinds of cheques they don't accept. I live in Singapore, and we have a local bank called DBS here. I have no idea whether it's accepted in Japan, although the DBS web site says its fully international.

I also have a citibank here.

I would recommend an international postal money order.

I will second that recommendation. They should only cost you a few Sing dollars, and there's no fee on the Japanese end.
