Question Please explain this vague dialogue's meaning こいつはいいや、商人もいやがるぜ

Much thanks anyone could explain this dialogue meaning in a novel ! The author wrote this sentence without clear subjects so its hard for my JP level to understand.
Context: Protagonist is traveling on a horse carriage together with a driver/merchant of that carriage. On the road they suddenly met a girl suddenly ran out and block their horse carriage, seems to be an acquaintance of the driver. Then they met 3 beast men who seems to be chasing after the girl , trying to capture her.

それと同時に、馬車の前に飛び出してきたという少女も視界に飛び込んできた。
衣服の端々は破れ、その肌には無数の掠り傷。
そして、どう見てもただの街娘にしか見えない少女の手には、似つかわしくない長剣が握られていた。
獣人(Bandit beast men)「おいおい、どこへ行こうってんだい、お嬢ちゃんよぉ！」
ノルン(Girl)「っ……！」

獣人「逃げても無駄だぜぇ……って、へへ。こいつはいいや、商人もいやがるぜ」

コルネオ(Horse carriage driver/Merchant)「なっ、なんだぁあんたら！ノルンちゃんになんの用だ！」
この少女を追って来たのだろう。
茂みから姿を見せたのは３人の獣人……『俺たち』が気配を察知したのはこいつらだ。
獣人「うるせえ！テメエは黙って馬車を捨ててどっかに行っちまいな！俺らはそこの嬢ちゃんに用があんだよ。なあ～？」
ノルン「っ……姉さんを返してください！」
獣人「なんだ、まだやろうってのか？さっきも試したろ？お嬢ちゃんの剣じゃムリだって」
「だから、俺たちがちゃーんとお姉ちゃんのところに案内してやるって言ってんだよぉ～」

いやがる is not 嫌がる but the -masu stem of 居る + やがる, which gives a nuance of contempt, curse or hate to the verb.

what does こいつ/koitsu mean here ? Did the beast men referred to the girl ?

こいつはいいや (sometimes pronounced as こいつぁいいや) is a kind of set expression. こいつ refers to the scene/situation, not people in this case.
