Order of words

I'm still new to all this and I have a quick question.

If I wanted to say something like "I like to jump over the fence" (sorry for the weird sentence it's just an example.) in Japanese what would the order of the words be?

I mean to say where would you place each word once you translate it in spanish. Where would the main verb go, the subject, etc.

English = SVO
Japanese = SOV
Not sure where Spanish came from.

You should probably concentrate on "This is a pen" then move on to more complicated sentences.
