What do you consider "old"?

It all depends.....really. Old isn't only a number but a physical/mental aspect as well. I would say that 80 is old, but in the instances that I gathered FOX news was saying is more of a 60 year old with a 30 year old or so. I am sorry, but that's just odd. Where does the relationship go...from the wedding to the funeral...where is the longevity of it....growing old together? I will say it again, money is the tie that binds those relationships. Oh, this just came to me, the infamous marriage Anna Nicole Smith...hmmm...bet that was based on love.

25 no way...35 go fo it! I would love to say that age doesn't matter, that it's just love that counts, but that is a fairy tale, albeit a sweet one that has passed along by many generations, with the best intentions, but it just isn't reality. I can understand why young women want an older man, he's secure financially, and can take care of her and their kids. It's understandable. He wants a trophy, usually the 2nd wife, usually blonder, skinnier, bustier and much younger than the first wife. My husband is 8 years older than me...even that difference sometimes seems like a lot. He talks of when he was in college and I was in elementary school! I want everyone to be happy in the long run, but I guess if your happy in the short term, have a fling and have fun.......

The article was interesting. It was new, compared to the magizines I read--or I just missed it.

There are some other things that help that not so common, but nevertheless happening phenomenon of both older men with younger women and younger men with older women. One which has been shown to be highly possible by several studies is the natural push in libido.

The whole sexual thing for the male is generally quicker than it is for the female--speaking averages here. This includes libido as well. As men are starting to decline (although generally higher than women) the woman's is generally starting to increase.

The increase in women seems to mismatch the decrease in men (on average) and can, in some cases, 'drive' an older female to an interest in a younger male. The exact opposite is the case for the older male. . . the slowness and reproductivity of the younger female can 'drive' the male.

These things are tendencies, and seem to be average in varying degrees, but are uncommonly carried out--that means not usually executed. I have seen some such couples myself, however. I'm not so certain that upper consciousness is doing most of the work, though--the brain can decieve it's owner. (that is a known)
