I found another scroll with the same text (which is also supposed to be from Ikkyu). The text reads
報緣虛幻,不可強為。浮世幾何,隨家豐儉。苦樂逆順,道在其中。動靜寒溫,自愧自悔
They look like various idioms related to buddhism, but the language isn't easily understandable.
Yours may be a copy of this one. I can't quite make out the character under Ikkyu's name, but it could indicate the scroll is a copy. But the seal is one of Ikkyu's seals, so... who knows.

Or, not idioms, but some kind of couplets. It may originally be Chinese, because I see this same passage appearing on some Chinese websites. Ikkyu would have been trained in various Chinese literature.
