You're right in the general case. You'd have to survey a few native speakers to determine whether in context the sentence of mine that started all this was
a) Obviously a joke.
b) Funny.
c) Better with/without よ。

Personally I think it was pretty obvious with the stuck there.

Hi everyone, haven't posted for a month or so. I'm back on my GameCube game 動物番長 where I play the part of an animal working my way up the food chain. My character, currently a pig, is asleep, dreaming I think, and I have the following short sentence which is beyond me.

目おしでバッチシ きめられるかも ブタエドイン。

ブタエドイン is me, Edwin the Pig, and I know it's something about the eyes but otherwise I'm stuck. The preceding sentence was:

赤、青、黄 スロット玉で イロかえる

Which refers to a red, blue and yellow object I previously consumed that changes my colour. Any ideas?

I've had another look on screen thinking I must have made a mistake then but no, the characters are exactly as I posted. Maybe there's some word play again. The Red, blue, yellow ball previously referred to that changed my colour worked as follows: the colour of my animal changed rapidly and I had to press the button at the right moment to stop it on the right colour. Yes, "Play Pachinko by pressing using your eyes"?

Well as I (later) said I misread some stuff due to it being some unearthly hour in the morning.

According to Google バッチシ appears to be some sort of game possibly used for fortune telling (maybe like the magic 8-ball only with several coloured balls). I've no idea how it works - but your sentence appears to refer to making decisions by that game.

How would you say to recreate or reconstruct a chess game from a book?

→冗談とは限りません。ただし、親しい間柄でしか使いません。
そして「ってば 」と言うより「ってばよ」といった方が優しい感じがす るでしょうか
→逆に乱暴な感じになります。「ってば 」にしましょう。
