鍵しとこうぜ
The context is, that one guy says this to another, while snooping around inside school, and after getting rid off a classmate, who surprised them with his presence.
What does the whole thing mean?
I especially don't get the 鍵しとこう part, and I can't find an explanation for this anywhere.
Edit: Could it be the casual form of しておこう?
Does it mean something like, "Let's lock [the door] to stop further disturbances"? Is this right?
よ is a sentence final particle, と is for quotation, and っ is for emphasis.Edit2: Also, what does よっと in "下さいよっと" at the end of some sentences mean?
し is not a contraction but the continuous usage of the -masu stem of する.I am studying patent translation and am not too sure if I translated 燃料ポンプ21a、21bの印加電圧を共に0Vとし燃料ポンプ21a、21bを駆動しない。correctly -
taking fuel pumps 21 a and 21 b's applied voltage as zero voltage, it does not drive fuel pumps 21 a and 21b
How does the toshi in 印加電圧を共に0Vとし work?
Have I got it right when i think toshi is a contraction of to suru?
Any help would be much appreciated.
