It's often the case especially with onomatopoeia in manga, that's the author's coined word. So, we can only say "it might be so" without the context.
Well, as far as context goes, it was on the same page where someone had just fallen.

sukuwareruHey there!
Could any1 tell me please, what does sukuwarete mean? I know sukū is "to save", but I don't know what does "warete" mean and what does "sukuwarete" mean because of this.
Could any1 explain please? Arigatou gozaimasu:
...I know sukū is "to save"...
You did quite well!I have an essay that is worth a fair number of points, so I was wondering if anyone could give it a look. It's kind of long, but here goes. (It was in Japanese; I had to translate it. I tried to translate it more literally.)
Yes, it's 仏道家. I've never heard it, but Google Search suggests that it exists. As I understand it, an old-fashioned (?) word for Buddhism is "butsudo", i.e. "Buddha's way". Now, I wonder, is it correct to say "butsudoka", i.e. "follower of Buddha's way", just as one can say "kendoka"? If so, how to write it? Would it be correct to spell it 仏道家? I assume that if this word exists, it's not in common use.
頑張れ, もっと, よし, よくやった, and so on.I have another question too. How to express encouragement in Japanese, e.g. "Come on!", "That's the spirit!", "Give me your best!", "Work harder!", or "Well done!"? As I practice kendo, I'm obviously interested in expressions that would be suitable in that particular context.
You did quite well!Just a few corrections.
1)
Yes, you can use いよう.
いようかどうかとまよっています is not incorrect, but いようかどう(しよう)かまよっています is more common. Besides, 夏休み中ずっと/夏休みの間ずっと would be more appropriate for "during the summer break".
2)
(家に) パスポートを忘れたことに、空港に着くまで気が付かなかった/気付かなかった。
家で忘れる could be barely acceptable, but に is far common. で indicates the location of the action, so 家で忘れた focuses more on the fact that the action "forgetting" happened at home. On the other hand, 家に忘れた means "left it in home". Also, で indicates the means of transfer when used with 着く, as in 電車で着いた. に is used for the destination here.
3)
The honorific form is correct. But 私に is not needed.;-) You can also use いただくわけにはまいりません as a more polite form.

How about doko ka he/ni ikou ka....? instead of いよう ???1)

The original sentence is "I am having trouble making up my mind whether or not to stay (lit."be") in Claremont during the summer break this year", whereas どこに行こうか迷っている means "I can't decide where I should go". It's not a slight difference, I suppose. How about doko ka he/ni ikou ka....? instead of いよう ???
Or どこに行こうか迷っている with a slightly changed emphasis.![]()
Yeah, I know いよう is technically acceptable. But I have hardly heard it used in this context. The original sentence is "I am having trouble making up my mind whether or not to stay (lit."be") in Claremont during the summer break this year", whereas どこに行こうか迷っている means "I can't decide where I should go". It's not a slight difference, I suppose.
ずっとクレアモントにいようかどこかに行こうか迷っています would be acceptable as "whether to stay in Claremont or to go to somewhere", instead of just どこかに行こうか.;-)
Oh, OK. My experience of いよう has been limited mostly to the sense of stay as in leave without a change of present condition ("remain single," "remain with" a person etc.).It's not "technically acceptable" but "commonly used".
