Thanks Toritoribe. Now I'm onto the next page where Mother is standing outside the front door with Akazukin-chan leaving the house to go to Grandma's.
Mother: よりみちしたり しらないひとと おしゃべりしないでいくのよ。
Akazukin-chan: は一い いってきまーす。
What I think it says:
Mother: On the way to Grandma's house, don't talk to strangers.
I know what Akazukin-chan says, but why are there lines in は一い and まーす ? These lines are actually vertical (because the sentences are written up to down). Isn't "Yes" just はい ?
