That's a wordplay, so the English translation "I want to go to Thailand" doesn't convey the nuance. This appears to be slang or netspeak of some sort.....so I don't really have any idea what it means...

Hello everyone!
Long time no see!
I'm here for your advices. My cousin just had a baby girl ^^
She and her husband wanted to name her "flower" in Japanese so they called her...... Hanae.
I'm a bit embarassed how to say them, it's just Hana.
Plus, they asked me to write them in kanji.
Have you any ideas?
花え
花江
花枝
Thank you for your help.
Both 誘い文句 and 口説き文句, especially the former, is also used as "catch-phrase", just my impression. Thanks for the help last time!
I have a question about 誘い文句 and 口説き文句? Do they both mean "pick-up line" and if so are there any differences?
よろしくお願いします!
The meaning is the same. 何も教えられない sounds somewhat more colloquial. Also, I came across this example sentence:
情報は内々に知らされたものなので、あなたに何も教えることはできない。
Could the sentence also be said with 何も教えられない instead? Is there a difference between 教えることはできない and 教えられない?
により can't be used with particles.I have some questions about the following sentence:
勝ち負けーーつまり成功の基準は、人によりさまざまなはずだ。同じ一個人でもときと場合によっては、ちがってくる。
If により and によって mean the same thing, are there any differences in how they're used??
違う: The difference (already) exists. Also, what's the purpose of てくる in this sentence? How would it be different if it were just ちがう?

Hey guys, first post here. And I am hoping someone can help me!
I was reading something about Itsukushima Shrine and at the end it had this sentence:
崇敬の念が神社を支えてきたのだ
I really don't get it at all. Especially the bit about 念. I guess the last bit is about supporting the shrine. But that's really all I've got.
Any help?
Ben
What does 'fusai' mean? I'm thinking it's slang cause none of the dictionary entries make any sense in the context of the situation. People seem slightly disgusted or something.
"I would be grateful if you could reply quickly."I'm having trouble understanding the function of 分 in the following sentence:
返事が早い分には嬉しいです。
How would this sentence be translated into English?
「分」の検索結果 - Yahoo!辞書[4] 物事の様子・状態。また、程度。くらい。
この―なら大丈夫だ
軽い仕事をする―には差し支えない
It completely depends on the context. かん is also possible. They are sometimes interchangeable, though. Also, how does one know when to pronounce 間 「ま」or 「あいだ」???
教えられない is also basically the same meaning as 教え ることができない。Also, I came across this example sentence:
情報は内々に知らされたものなので、あなたに何も教えることはできない。
Could the sentence also be said with 何も教えられない instead? Is there a difference between 教えることはできない and 教えられない?
Right. あくまでも means "just" here. How does one translate あくまでも個人的な意見ですが、ご参考まで。
What I don't understand is the use of あくまでも
Would it be "This is just my personal opinion, but I hope it helps"??
練習(を)がんばってしています = がんばって練習(を)していますAlso, what does the form てする mean? For instance...
今は練習がんばってしています。
すごく幼い男性なんだと感じてします。
How would these sentences be different if they were
今は練習がんばっています。
すごく幼い男性なんだと感じてます。
It depends on the context, but 切り替えが早い means "quick to change the feeling", and そうなりかねない would be "things could be~" or something like that.I also have a question about the following sentence:
「切り替えが早い女性だと特に…そうなりかねないので」
I found this in a forum where a man asked if it was bad to return emails immediately (funny question, I think). Anyways, I don't get the meaning of 切り替え because in dictionaries, it's "switchover"... Also, what's そうなりかねない??
What I found lately was that "Restaurant" in Japanese is written/pronounced as レストラン
But is there also a Kanji and Hiragana for it?
In a One Piece episode I heard something like Meshiata, but I'm not quite sure about it
So, let's see if I understand right
If I want to ask where a restaurant is, I can say "ryouriten wa doko da?"
and a sign above a restaurant would have レストラン written on it rather than 料理店
Is that correct?
Or am I making some weird mistake right now?
