Right. I was thinking with the ways to say "attach さん" or "call them by さん"さん付け acts as a noun or -suru verb stem.
e.g.
君はいつもさん付けを忘れるけど、知らない人にはさん付けしたほうがいいよ。
さんを付けて呼ぶ seems more common than 「さん付け」で呼ぶ or さん付けする。 But it could just be my people.
