Need a word or phrase translated?

Hi guys! Could you please help me with translation into Japanese. If it's possible it should be written in KANJI. "Humble, average-looking white guy seeks warm, caring Asian woman with strong moral character and a background in quantum physics. Please, no supermodels." Thank you in advance.

僕は外人の恋人を見つけることがぜんぜんできませんから、しからない、アジア人の女を見つけるよ。

average looking white guy = not that white guy that you japanese women usually would imagine. ie, i am short and ugly with an asian size penis

seeks warm, caring Asian women = most white women are cold, and treats me like sh1t

strong moral character = women I've been with all cheated on me or dumbed me

background in quantum physics = you have to be socially retarted like me.

please, no supermodels = i have very low self confidence. and beautiful women will make me sh1t my pants and reject my average look.

That whole things makes you sound like a typical white loser that prey on Japanese women knowing that they have a soft spot for white guys, or anyone whom they can practice English with.

この時期、両親はかなり頭を痛めたそうだが、この問題は、ある転機によって解決していった。幼稚園での最高学年である 「年長組み」になってから、完全に、とまではいかなかったが、それまでのワガママさが影をひそめていったのだ。

とまではいかなかったって、意味は何ですか?

Hello everyone! I'm here again with another question.
I would like to say "Thank you for paying me" or "Thanks for the payment" in polite Japanese.
Is "払われて いただいて ありがとう ございます" correct?:? If not, I'd really appreciate all the help I can get.
Thanks in advance to whoever helps me out with this!👋

払っていただいてありがとうございます is correct.;-)

The payer (the receiver of respect) is the addressee, and the receiver of the money (the giver of respect) is the speaker. So it must be 払っていただいて, not 払われて or the -te form of the passive form.

払った人: the addressee
払われた人: the speaker

お支払いいただき、ありがとうございます。 would be the politest one.

Toritoribesama, oshieteitadaite, arigatou gozaimasu! (I hope I did this one right)
Your explanation on the receiver and giver of respect cleared it all up.
Thank you so much:-)

Just an additional note to Toritoribe san's great post, alternative way to say is
払ってくださってありがとうございます。
(くださる also suggests that the giver did a favour to the receiver.)

Ah, right! 払ってくださって would be the best!👋 お支払いいただき is more likely for the situation that the speaker is a clerk at a store.😌

学芸会、僕らの出し物は「ぐるんぱの幼稚園」。そのなかで「ジジ」という役があった。役どころは自動車修理工。 さして嫌われるような役でもなさそうだが、幼稚園児とは段純なものだ。 「ジジ」という名前がおじいさんみたいでイヤだと、誰もやりたがらなかったのだ。

なさそう と

がら 意味は?

がら 意味は?
な/さそうだ
stem of ない + the auxiliary verb (さ)そうだ

さして嫌われるような役でもなさそうだが
The roll doesn't seem so unpopular, but...

the auxiliary verb そうだ

pre-masu form of やる + pre-nai form of the auxiliary verb たがる + past form of ない

誰もやりたがらなかった
no one wanted to do it(to play the roll of ジジ).

the auxiliary verb たがる
〔補説〕 希望の助動詞「たい(たし)」の「た」に接尾語「がる」の付いたもの。中世以降の語
動詞および助動詞「れる・られる」「せる・させる」の連用形に接続する。
[1] 話し手以外の人が希望・願望する意を表す。

Hi! What does 心込めて mean? I've heard it in several song lyrics, but I still can't figure out its meaning. >w<
込める is a verb to mean "to put ~ into something", thus, 心を込める means "to put one's heart into something." So the adverbial form 心込めて generally can be interpreted as "with all one's heart" or "sincerely."
e.g.
心を込めて君にこの歌を歌う
I sing this song for you with all my heart.

Thanks Toritoribe!
I have another question about sth I heard in a song (Utada Hikaru's Flavor of Life):
後一歩が踏み出せないせいで、じれったいのなんのってbaby.

What's the meaning/purpose of the section in red? Would it make a difference if she just ended it with "jirettaino"?

Thanks in advance!

~のなんの is for emphasis.

(副助)
〔補説〕 名詞「なに」に格助詞「の」の付いたものから
文または文節に接続する。
[2] (「…のなんの」の形で)程度のはなはだしいことを表す。

・ うまいの―といって、ほっぺたが落ちるくらいだ

・ 痛いの―、声も出なかった

じれったいのなんのって
How impatient it is!

The first の in じれったいのなんのって is not a sentence final particle. If ended with じれったいの, the line would sound as a gentle/introverted female word. But, in fact, じれったいのなんのって is more likely a male word, and conveys a nuance of an active character.

How do we say:
I could not finish reading my textbook because recently I've not had much time due to lots of work to complete.

縄は盗人の有難さに、何時塀を越えるかわかりませんから、ちゃんと腰につけてい
たのです。

Once again, I'd like to kindly ask for assistance on this sentence. I've included the entire sentence for context. However, the only thing I'm unsure of is the に usage in the portion "縄は盗人の有難さに". I'm not sure what this means here. My one guess, is that it means "as", as in "As a thief's blessing, I never know when I'll have to scale a wall so I had it fashioned to my waste." I just need someone to confirm this for me. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

This 芥川's expression is rarely used in these days. Probably we would say something like 縄は、盗人のありがたさとして instead. As for the function of に, yes, your interpretation is correct.:)

Thanks for answering my question last time!
I have another question about a line from a song:
昨日に戻れないけど 祈るように明日を迎える
Although we can't return to yesterday, rather than wishing for it, we should accept the past

I found a translation online somewhere, but what is the purpose of "youni" in this context? would "yori" make sense?

Thanks in advance!

Create an original translation next time. "Yori" as in "rather than pray for it we should meet/accept tomorrow ??"

昨日に戻れないけど 祈るように明日を迎える = Although we cannot return to the past, we can go forward to tomorrow in the way that we wish/pray for. 😌

Thanks!
I have another question about song lyrics:
もしも二人帰る場所が同じだったら 時計に邪魔されなくてもいい
What does that mean? I can't make heads or tails of the 2nd part.

Also: ずっと君だけの私でいるから
Is "de iru" some form of "de aru"?

And also: サイトで公開する情報のプライバシーをさらにきめ細かく管理し、友達と安心して交流できるよう、プライバシーオプションに変更を加えました。
What does "kime" mean?

Thank you so much for taking time to respond to my question. I appreciate it! 🙇

時計に邪魔されなくてもいい

時計に邪魔される = to be distracted by the clock, to have the clock get in the way (される is the passive form of する)
→ 時計に邪魔されない = negative of above
→ てもいい form ("it's fine if...")

でいる = something like "exist as"/"to be"(で particle + the usual いる for living things).
e.g. 一人でいる = to be alone.
In this case, to be "君だけの私"

For the last, it is not きめ by itself, but 木目細かい (related to the similar adjective 木目細か which is a な adjective). In this context, meaning something like "detailed, careful, meticulous". Seems to be more usually written as in your example with the first part in hiragana - きめ細かい

Thanks for answering my questions!

I have another question about song lyrics:
1.What does this mean?
わかりにくいのは そう見せたいせい
見かけだおしより イイでしょう

2. And also, what does くだらなくって mean? is it くだらない+くて but with an extra っ? or is it くだらなく+って?

3. And what does this mean? ひとりよがりでも ゆずれないのなら 正しく生きてることでしょう

4. カッコ悪くても運とかなくても ココ押さえてればいいんです
I understand that the first part means that "even if you're not looking cool or you don't have luck" but the last part beats me...What does it mean?

Thanks so much in advance :)

Which bits of these are you having trouble with?
1.
わかりにくい = from 分かる + にくい which is a suffix meaning "hard to"
そう見せたいせい = そう+ 見せたい + せい
見かけだおし = 見掛け倒し

2. Could be either, depends on context. What follows it?

3. Again, which bits do you have issues with? (Look up 独り善がり, 譲れる)

4. You can expand it to do ここで押さえていればいいんです . Do you understand ば form + いい grammar? Or is it the meaning of 押さえる here that is the problem?
