"言っておけ" is the imperative form of "言っておく", a rude way of saying "言っておきなさい".
"I'll believe you for now, but tell everyone that if I would find...
hope this helps, again;-)

Could anybody translate "Bebop" into Japanese for me. I want to say that its either ビーバップ, or ビバップ. Anybody know?
Haha, yeah man, for sure. But also, whats the meaning of "ー", because iI'e never seen it in either hiragana or katakana. that's why I was getting the whole ビバップ thing going on.
1. I would say: 邦介 kunisukeKanji help
I, Bob , Vice Consul of the United States of America at Tokyo, Japan do hereby certify that on this DATE, at the American consular office, in the city of Tokyo, Yamada Taro, a citizen of the US, aged 28, born in Edo, and now residing in Shina, and Tanaka Hanako, a subject of Japan, aged 28, born in Edo, and now residing in Shina, were united in marriage in my presence.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of my office at Tokyo, and of the Independence of the United states the 1st NAME vice consul of USA.
Here's my attempt:
I really appreciate any help.
すみませんでした、"and of the Independence of the United States, the 1st(第1代?) Bob Jones(署名), vice consul of the United States of America" という英文です。Even in English it's kinda Maybe just leave it out, yeah?
二番目の文章の"and of the Independence of the United states the 1st NAME vice consul of USA"の部分がよくわからないんですよね。![]()
すみませんでした、"and of the Independence of the United States, the 1st(第1代?) Bob Jones(署名), vice consul of the United States of America" という英文です。Even in English it's kinda Maybe just leave it out, yeah?
I owe you one!
seal of the Independence of the US...Why was I thinking the consulate office existed independently of US, that's just stupid...Man, I'd definitely buy u a beer or two.
"and of the Independence of the United States" の "of" は"the seal " にかかって押印が二種類なのか
"and of the Independence of the United states" がなければ
EDIT:
Does anybody know if this sentence is correct?
"Because it was Father's day, I offered flowers at XXX's grave."
I added でした, so I changed it to 父の日でしたからXXXの墓には供花が供えられていた。 Would that be the correct way of saying "Because it was Father's day, I offered flowers at XXX's grave."? Thank you,
'Kannichi wa, watashi no namae wa Tom soshite Eikoku no Falmouth kara desu. Watashi wa Falmouth de yo-nenkan sumimashita. Watashi wa Graphic Design o benkyoo daigaku de ugokimashita.'
Which should translate as:
'Hi, my name is Tom and I'm from Falmouth in England. I was living in Falmouth for four years. I moved there to study Graphic Design at University.'
Thanks Undrendtide!! That's really useful
There's one thing though - in the final sentence I would like to say that the reason for moving was to study graphic design at university - not simply that I studied graphic design at university (that's why i tried to use 'ugoku' to start with)
So, for this last sentence, would it make sense to say:
Thanks again for your help so far - you seem to have a very good knowledge of Japanese - are you from Japan?
