hey, k can someone please translate some sentences to hiragana/katakana,
k so they are
Did you read that book Alice?
The doctor asked Mike a question
Mike is my friend
lets go to school
yea so their kinda simple and can u mention the particles too =) thanks
Hello~
I'm not really the best person to answer these questions, but I'll try I guess.
Sorry I don't have IME. I'm in a hotel.
Did you read that book, alice? = ariisu-san wa, sono hon o yomimashita ka?
The doctor asked Mike a question. = isha wa maiku-san ga toi o toimashita. **
Mike is my friend. = Maiku-san wa tomodachi desu.
Let's go to school. = gakkou ni ikimashou.
** I'm not sure of this. I didn't know hwo to say question or to ask, so I looked it up and got 'toi' and 'tou', so I don't knwo if it's right. Even if the words are correct, I'm not really sure about the sentence itself.
Anyways,, The particles... uhmm, i'm not that good at explaining them xD
wa = topic particle, i guess it can be translated roughly as "as for". like "ariisu-san wa = as for alice" or somethign liek that. MArks the topic of the sentence.
o = object particle. marks the object of the sentence.
ni = directional particle. does many thing, but in this sentence it shows you the direction something is going, i guess. I guess in this situation, it can be roughly translated as "in " or "to".
ka = question particle. add it to the end of a sentence to make it a question, basically.
Hope all, or most, of this is correct. If any is wrong, please correct anyone, so I don't give this person incorrect information~
thanks and I hoped this helped ^^
