I have no idea what that kanji is, but I found another that resembles what you wrote here:

Regarding the question about 女 , the word that came to mind is "ama," a derogatory word for woman originally written with the kanji 尼 .

Forgive me for writing out the whole sentence, but I figured it would provide greater context this way. "50歳で" would mean "By being 50 years old"? or perhaps "among 50 year olds"? Normally I would skip this question by but it's bugging me since I can't pin the meaning down properly.

Hmm, after reading Epigene-san's post, I came up with 海女 which also sounds like "ama".

Also, Fuumei, it means "at the age of 50".
Those who retires at the age of 50 can get more(3 times, in this sentence) Taishokukin (sorry, I don't know the word for it. Retirement benefits?) than those who retires at 60.
(So, it's something about early retirement. Company wants old people to leave or something.)

One way would be the obvious 格好（かっこう、カッコ）つけてないで meaning don't put on airs, don't try to impress...but can be used to anyone, not only for a person that is disliked.

I noticed that the sentence I wrote in hiragana and kanji included this:

"? 烽ｪ貰えるこ" That's certainly not how it looked on my screen when I typed it in. It should be "taishoukin ga moraeru koto" I'm kind of puzzled as to how that "I" got in there as well. :emoji_stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

You did use non-Japanese spacing for the numbers (3, 50), right ? Don't worry, though ! : It isn't a criminal offense exactly, :emoji_blush: but it will lead to mojibake in certain cases...that I'll let others explain in detail. :emoji_stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Like Elizabeth said, using half-width western characters can lead to mojibake. The forum inserts a half-width space every fifty half-width characters, so every twenty-five full-width characters. If you have an odd number of half-width characters in a grouping of 25 full-width characters, you will end up with mojibake because one of the full-width characters will have a half-width space inserted in the middle of it. Also see the link in my sig. I think there's a demonstration there, but I'm not sure it goes into much more detail. Anyway, the safest thing to do is just to insert everything in full-width characters if you plan on typing lots of Japanese text.

hm... from a dictionary... i searched for mizu wo and left the rest blank... and that came up... so I wanted to check if it is correct... but I would take any expression you could recommend ^^

I don't think こっち（こちら）側、あっち（あちら）側 works for my purpose... but I think I'll just use omote and ura, and just leave it to the listeners imagination which is which :emoji_flushed: thanks anyway ^^

他人に水を跳ね飛ばす is my personal favorite, but more like splatter ?. :emoji_sunglasses: but you may want to check back again cause I don't really know all the important differences among them はね散る、はねかける（はねかし？）。。。など Or simply はねる & かける alone ? :

I looked into it a tad bit more and 水を飛ばす appears at least technically on spot for splash water. 水を跳ね飛ばす they may picture someone getting hit by a truck and then sprayed by it. :emoji_blush:
