Hehe, now that IME is coming through for me again evidently there was even more practice with 待ち兼ねる from only last week as well.... I guess I just didn't realize this was the same "kaneru" that had any other uses but to combine or carry two meanings.

Not completely, "no tame ni" would be directed at the thing which you are doing something for, though. Also what kind of support does this involve ?
I usually think of 支援 as being closer than 援助 (help, assistance)....so another possibility is 支援をいただいてありがとうございました。

The poster in the middle of the building is a picture of baby feet with the legend "Life Support" and a logo that looks like a combination of the letter A and the number 1.

I've never been there. BUT, it appears to be one of those "adult entertainment" building housing "kyabakura (short for cabaret-club)," massage parlors and the like.

The kanji reads "Seiza-kan" or Constellation House.

The sentence means "being obstinate, in trying hard to be/stay strong."

強くあろう is an inflection (is that the right grammatical term?) of the adjective
強い, suggesting something not accomplished yet, projection, a desire one hopes to achieve. Hope this give you a better idea:

It at least sounds a bit better then 泣いた空の時に and I have no other idea on how to write 'the time when the sky cried' (unless you'd use 空が泣いたの時に but I don't like that construction for a title)... it's about snow, if anybody wonders where the title is referring to

But it sounds too uninvolved....If you need to come to it from the angle of wanting or pleading to please be remembered : 私のことを覚えていてくれませんか？ 私のことを覚えてないのじゃないかなぁ？？.... or there's always a more informal take in Japanese depending on the situation.

From what I remember reading use the -masu stem in more formal situations, and when the two clauses aren't connected in a causal way. That is, you can use -te for light causality, but the -masu stem bears no hint of causality.
