Need a word or phrase translated?

BTW, did you read your thread? Any response?
Oh, yeah I did. And, no I don't. I'm pretty sure I understand it now. If I do happen to have more questions, I won't hesitate to post.
I'm surprised he didn't have any questions about sound effects, which seem to make up about 90% of the text....
I've actually found a really good list of SFX, some of which aren't even on "The Jaded Network."

Then you can inform it in some way instead of leaving the thread doing nothing. You don't need to hesitate to acknowledge those who helped you.

It wouldn't break your jaw to say "Thank you" to the man, would it? Ignoring people who helped you and taking them for granted isn't a recipe for getting help again the next time you come looking for it.

Sorry guys. Thank you. I actually commend you guys for speaking up about this. On other sites, where I forget to say thank you, no one's ever said anything. It's not that I don't appreciate the help, it's just that sometimes I just don't think to say it.

I need some help with this sentence.
Context: 3 friends are eating lunch at school.
[話をしながらもトモはトモで昼飯に手をつけていた」
I'm totally blanking out on that highlited part, specifically で.
Does that mean "by (means of) himself"?

Thanks.

I'm guessing here:

友達は友達で

Friends sitting together with friends (each other)

I think トモ is a person's name. As for the structure ~は~で, please refer to #4 in the following thread.
past + としても VS plain form + としても ・ 経つ VS 経った ・ の + omission ・ NはNで | Japan Forum

having a little trouble with this particularly the 段差
2㎜以上の浅いくぼみ、溝、段差用.

It's part of the specifications of a rotary blade. The rough idea of it I have is that the blade has these shallow depression and grooves that are more than 2mm which are used creating difference in levels?

Also we figured out my previous problem. it turns out we were right but there was an extra step my friend had to do.

Where did you get it from? Do you understand that the blade is for deburring?

Does that mean you already understand the meaning of the phrase and you don't need any help now?

What does 「計算でやっている」 means in the following dialogue?

Can someone please translate the following?
適者が生き残る

The most fit survive. ("Fit" in the Charles Darwin sense, not the Charles Atlas sense).

っくら調達してきます

Is 後輩 a girl?

@Toritoribe Yes, 後輩 is a girl.
Thank you, however I can't understand how 「計算でやっている」 references to 「調達してきます」, if I'm understanding correctly - "delivering a fire extinguisher".

Oh, sorry for confusing. I just pointed out a typo by ちっくら調達してきます.

先輩 offered to carry a fire extinguisher back here instead of 後輩 because it's heavy. As a result, he showed his tenderness toward her unconsciously. Then she asked if he did that(= showing his tenderness) consciously(= 計算で).

That's 調達 "procure", not 配達 "deliver", btw.

How to write "He sat down on the chair" in Japanese?
kare wa isu ni suwatta
彼は椅子に座った
Am I wrong?

I have a question about the meaning of 「その双厳がである。」 in the following passage. If I'm understanding correctly by その双厳 it references to the previous sentences which describe how many people he killed and how everyone afraids to get closer to him. However I'm not sure about the particle が after it, does it refers to the next sentence 「いつになく恐ろしい雰囲気をかもし出していたのである。」? Something along the lines - 'Sougen, who is scary all the time, now has 「いつになく恐ろしい雰囲気」, but still the girl doesn't afraid of him'?
