Are you talking also in this sense about "nandakanda" ? It seems closest, but with me "nanda" is always a big mistake. This or that, somehow or other etc ?好きだの何だの言ってみせる is similar to 好きとか何とか言ってみせる.
To translate literally:"I promise you will love/like it."
"You will love/like it."
Can somebody please translate to English. Thank you.
No, ~だの何だの is a set phrase, meaning "~ or something/or like that". なんだかんだ言う is used more likely for complaint. They are completely different. Are you talking also in this sense about "nandakanda" ? It seems closest, but with me "nanda" is always a big mistake. This or that, somehow or other etc ?
Then, why don't you post it here and ask to correct it instead of just asking to translate? I think it's far better to send your own Japanese sentence to them than to send OUR translation, even if you are not so confident with your Japanese.;-)I have already written some.
好きか、愛しているとか、おまえだけだか...そういうことを言うこと ?no, ~だの何だの is a set phrase, meaning "~ or something/or like that".
わかりました。なんだかんだ言う is used more likely for complaint. They are completely different.
この文脈ではそうです。好きか、愛しているとか、おまえだけだか...そういうことを言うこと ?
確かに。ただし、否定的なニュアンスで使われることが多いです。しかし、不平だけとはかぎりませんね。
多分理由などの場合もあります。この文脈ではそうです。
