二ヶ月目 What I don't get is a combination of a duration number + ~~nd/th. The second of two months ???

二ヶ月 usually means duration but when used with 目, ヶ月 is not line (duration) but point.
二ヶ月目 is the second month (counting from the beginning).

I had to ponder about this out for awhile, the "見せかけ通り" portion. Hopefully someone can shed some light on what this word's definition is. My idea at the moment is that it means this:

1. 見せかけ通り = Exactly as it is. [being falsely portrayed/posed as]

This girl, who's appearance is falsely being portrayed, isn't cute at all!

That's my take on the rough translation. Hopefully I am not too far off.

A few questions words are dare (who), doko (where), nani (what). appending -ka to them makes them refer to something uncertain: dareka (someone), dokoka (somewhere), nanika (something), correct?

Also, I've noticed from usage that appending -mo makes them refer to something that doesn't exist, like nanimo (nothing). Is it safe to say that dokomo means nowhere, and daremo means nobody?

But "daremo" and "dokomo" can also be used in affirmative sentences like 「誰もが参加(さんか)できる。」(Anyone can take part), while "nanimo" is used only in negative sentences.

NTT docomo, the largest mobile phone operator in Japan, was named after that "dokomo", meaning that you can make a call from anywhere, while the company officially describes its name as an acronym of "DO COmmunications over the MObile network".

わかりません is simply a polite form of わからない, thus, they are quite the same in meaning.
