なれきった means became completely familiar withHello...
I was trying to understand one sentence. In Aikawa Nanase's song "Second Wind" first verse is:
Narekitta kuuki sore nari ni igokochi warukunai futari
なれきった空気それなりに居心地悪くない二人
I can't understand this sentence at all. There is a translation in the net, and it says:
"The familiar atmosphere makes us feel at home"
But I can't understand why this sentence has such meaning. Especially this word "narekitta". What is this? I can't find anything similar in dictionaries I use, and I think these are good dictionaries. The same is with "igokochi"... Nothing in dictionaries... :/
Anyway. Is there someone who could explain me the whole sentence word by word? I'd be grateful
No, it is the name of the company + guru-pu. Like Va-jin guru-pu.Thanks for the help, Elisabeth. It would be [Insert-name-here]-pu, would it not? Freedict's translation of "video game" is "bideoke-mu".
"In itself" or "in its own way."Ok thanks, Elizabeth. It looks more clear for me now. Could you tell me one more thing? What means this phrase "sore nari ni".
なれきった空気それなりに居心地悪くない二人
Normally you don't say anything squashed amongst a crowd. Just reaching around one person I would use "shitsurei (shimasu)."oh. thx Buntaro
^^
へんな is fine to use for things aside from people.
Like what ?? "Kanaiyo" could be a typo but "meil" is not close to being Japanese.just wondering, what does "kanaiyo" mean..? like in "meil kanaiyo..."
Henna onna ??and how do you say "weird/strange" in japanese? like um... "its weird how i always think about you" or "something seems strange when i met him this morning"
i know "henna" is weird. but can you use it for other than a person?
"henna gaijin" "henna no ona"... like its always people related...
thanks so much in advance!!
Normally you don't say anything squashed amongst a crowd. Just reaching around one person I would use "shitsurei (shimasu)."
wat does shitsurei means? is it e removal of the -masu for shimasu and replace with -tsurei?
augne,
I do not know the word "kanaiyo."
If something or someone was strange or wierd, I would say, "Okashii desu ne...."
"its weird how i always think about you"
--> Watashi wa anata no koto o, itsumo kangaete imasu yo. Okashii desu ne.... (How romantic!)
Thanks everyone!
and oh ung it's actually "meil konaiyo..." instead of kanaiyo...
I would guess that "meil" here means "mail"..
I cant read kanji, so my Japanese friend always write to me in romaji... i'm very much a beginner in jJ this text he sent me, it was like "nanisiteru? meil konaiyo (-_-)..."
不思議 --> is this fushigi? hmm..
and does "omoisugosu" mean like "thinking too much"..?
I personally would not say it to someone, but about him...so this is one take on a really freaky guy.I have not dated anyone in Japanese, so I could hardly be called an expert on what is or is not romantic, but would this really be a natural thing to say? It sounds a bit おかしい to me, but maybe someone else could weigh in. If one were to say something like what is above and hope for it to be romantic, I imagine something lile 不思議 would stand a better chance...
Hello, Buckaroo Baizai-san, I think you're right.I have a rather specific question. In my class we were recently talking about the difference between 未来 and 将来, and I was saying how I always hear the latter in reference to people and also sometimes countries but that mirai seems more abstract, because it literally means "has not yet come." Kind of like the difference between future, as in future tense of a verb and future, as in the prospects for a given individual's life. Was I right in my distinction? Or was I way off?
ごめんなさい is mostly means sorry or excuse me.Buckaroo Banzai;556050 said:Oh, and on various words meaning sorry....
御免(ごめん)なさい While I have not read anything "official" on this, my interpretation is that it means something like "please let me evade."
And another...going off topic now...有り難うございます (arigatou) literally means "it is hard to exist," which is thought to mean something like it is hard for me to exist (after having been shown such kindness), or perhaps it is hard for me to exist (without thanking you).
