Need a word or phrase translated?

Could someone tell me what this means in English please? Thanks.

かんじはあまりつかわないようにEメールしたいとおもいます。
アニメのことは、あまりしらないけど、すこしならわかるよ。

I would like to send e-mails without using too many Kanji

I don't know much about Anime, just a little bit.

:note:

Hey guys, i got another question. I tried my hand at translating this to english, but I have a feeling I'm a bit off. The sentence is:質問なんだけど、今流行ってるお菓子って何?
I translated it as being something like: What questions are, but popular candy what? lol. I don't think that's it, tho. Thanks.

I concur with Elizabeth.

BTW, is "流行ってる" a Ryuukougo? Or was it supposed to be "Ryuukou shiteru"?

You don't need to translate the first part, 'XXXnan dakedo' is just a roundabout way of introducing a topic or starting a conversation.

Or (Person's name/anata) の温もりを恋しい for missing someone's warmth and presense in a more romantic sense.

日本の友達、こんにちわ~~
How do say 'Government isn't a solution, it's problem.'? (A famous quotation from 美国の great president, late Ronald Reagan).......
ありがとう。。。:p 😊

Did he ever actually say that ? 政府がわれわれの問題の解決策ではない。 This is "The government is not the solution to our problems."

ええ。。。Actually I got from newspaper~~~ so, not very sure, by the way, never mind.... :sorry:
ありがとう ございます。

It sounds very familiar -- I just couldn't find a verbatim Japanese version. It should be easy enough to recreate, however。。。。

政府は解決策ではない。 それは(が?)問題です。 (むしろ問題の根源だ)。

OK--how about this, Golgo ? A note from a former student....I also want to say I'm depressed because I don't know when I'll be getting back to Japan.

I am still busy job hunting... I have not found yet.
It is harder to adjust new life in Japan than I thought.

Let me know if I can help you are going to attend school in Japan.
Let's keep in touch.
I hope you have good time and see you soon in Japan.

One note, emperor先生, in Japanese the kanji for the US is 米, so it should be 米国, and not 美国.

In Chinese, the U.S. is 美国. 美 being the "me" sound in "America"

I know that, but he wrote "美国," which would indicate that he was typing Japanese. That's the only reason that I brought it up.

oo~~ I'm sorry but when I type 'bikoku' (is it 'America' in Japanese? I'm not sure.), it automatically came out 美国、 so I don't know....

There is no (as far as I can tell) bikoku. I'll avoid making any smart remarks about American not being a beautiful country ;-)

Thanks Golgo ! And just to confirm on this as well....'okurimashou' here is being used as a softer or more rounded form of 'okurimasu' ?

イニシャルDというアニメだね。公道カーレースの。
あれが好きなら、何週間分か録画して送りましょう。
