Hello Maki05, there are multiple kanji combinations that can make up these words (I'm guessing it is a name).
淡田将司
粟田正志
阿波田正史
etc. All of these are read as "Awata Masashi". There are many other options as well.
Are you looking for the kanji for a specific person or character?

Thanks! I was having doubts about the meaning. I've seen the first to kanjis alone, and I know for sure those mean "human". But that third symbol (I think it's a preposition), I thought it turned it into something completely different, with a different meaning.
 
No (の) is the possessive particle. It works just like apostrophe-s in English. For example, if you want to say Ken's kimono, you would say Ken no kimono.

Another example; the word for history is rekishi, so if you want to say human history, you would say ningen no rekishi (にんげん の れきし) (人間の歴史).
 
Hi all! New here; hoping your community SMEs can assist. I recently found an old tenugui and cannot, for the life of me, remember the translation. 20+ years ago there was no such thing as google translate and OCR was not available to me... So, who knows, it could've been translated wrong to me the first time. Anyways, I did my best to avail myself of many ways to decipher the calligraphy.

"Kan to-ken ichi" is the best I could find, assuming google was accurate. I always assumed the tenugui was for Kendo. So, I guess "feeling and position," makes sense.

Anyway, thanks in advance for your help with my wonderful little mystery bandana!

I think it's 玉昇. There is a netsuke artist 鈴木玉昇 Suzuki Gyokushō, but his signature/inscription seems to be different from yours.

Hi! I'm embroidering wine and beer carriers for my sister who just took the N1, so I really don't want to get it wrong. I want to know the kanji for wine and beer. According to jisho, 啤 is beer, and 酒 is sake or alcohol, which is the closest I could find for wine. Is this correct? (I'd ask my sis if it wasn't a gift)
 
That is not used for beer in modern Japanese. Beer is pretty much universally written as ビール and ワイン for wine.
酒 can be used generically for all alcoholic beverages. And for evidence that what I'm saying is correct, here's a typical drink menu I found.
 
Hi! I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, however, I have been working on a fashion brand named "Alphaura" ( "Alpha" "Aura" ) and part of the designs are inspired by the Japanese culture.

I was wondering if there's a way to transform Alphaura into Kanji.

Not into kanji, but can (and should) be done into kana アルファウラ

You "could" use kanji to represent those sounds, but nobody would be able to read it, or read it with confidence, or read it and make any sense out of it.

The idea is to obviously, for those who know Japanese, to actually understand and interpret the word. So アルファウラ translates to Alpha Aura, correct?
 
It is the word Alphaura transliterated into Japanese phonetic script, yes.

If you want Alpha + Aura, it will be アルファオーラ. It all depends upon how the English source word is pronounced.

Alpha + ura アルファウラ
Alpha + aura アルファオーラ
Alf+aura アルフォーラ
