Hello all, I was told about this website from a friend and perhaps i can get help telling what this poster means. First let me say I am very interested in Japanese sports history and can usually find what I need through a search but this one has me stumped. Looks like it could be from the Olympics back in 1972 when it was held in Sapporo but I am not sure. Hopefully someone can help thank you
?(素?)?家?愛
家和萬事成
If your home is peaceful, everything goes well.
萬事亨通
Everything goes well and smoothly.
寿福康寧
Longevity, Fortune, Tranquility
海?(君?若?)
Google search suggests that that might be related to a Korean religious organization. (I have to point out that that's not a well-written calligraphy.)
Would like my name translated to kanji can someone help ?
Arigato
How do I post it for the world not to know?We don't know what your name is.
You don't know your name even in your native language?? Or, "cupofnoodles" is the one you are talking about?
Is that what is meant to just ask?
Sorry I did, thanks for the warm welcome
The original meaning is "number one", and it can represent "the best" as same as in English.Hello everyone
I recently purchased this lovely kimono, despite not knowing what the japanese character on it means and since I actually don't enjoy being a total poser (or an *****) - can anyone tell me what this stands for? I'd truly appreciate it!
