It would be easy for you to just get a 240SX in America and swap the engine for a SR20DET.

When you get here you will find these to be quite underpowered, cheap and unpopular. Which you can take it two ways. 1) cheap to buy and maintain, and modify or 2) Underpowered and blown away by most every tuned car.

I never had a problem with my old s-13. I think it was an 89. But it no way compares to my Skyline now. Of course it has a full Ohlins suspension on it though.
