Movies I Hated, Everyone Else Loved

The Lion King (Disney)

My god, what a waste of time that was....

What's wrong with Blade Runner!? :o

Well the first movie that comes to my mind is Lost in Translation. 😌

The latest attempt at The Hulk (or whatever it was called), so boring for so long nothing interesting happened for ages i just stopped watching it before it even finished.

ps: (usually i watch a movie all the way through even if nothing much happens at the start, but nothing appealed to me the moment i started watching this movie, it was just boring dribble for too long).

I second the sentiment for Lost in Translation.

I would like to add
American Beauty
to the list.

Lost in Translation
What dreams may come

Have to disagree completely on American Beauty

ALien VS Predator...

What a BS movie was that... especially the last part where the girl is the only one alive and is almost in love with the Predator... DARLING BYE BYE.... I'll call you tonight.

Donnie Darko
Requiem For A Dream

Well, OK, I don't hate them, I just don't fancy them particularly and feel unable to understand the hype surrounding them, having people basically worship those movies like divine works of art.

I thought they were just meh.

Field of Dreams

Even though I'm a baseball fan, that flick was hokey and corny as hell! UGH!!

borat....
there are some things that should just never be put on film.
Way too much stupidity, nudity and downright rudeness.

I loved Lost in Translation! lol
AND Blade Runner what's going on here??

no jk, everyone's got their own opinion

Actually I CAN'T STAND the Spiderman movies, I think they're so lame and Toby McGuire just blows as an actor I can't see him being anything but Spiderman.

I have to agree on Titanic as well, the only good part was that nude scene. Aside from that it was boooring

I didn't like "Shrek" - actually, I couldn't watch it all. Somehow those weird looking creatures spoil it. Movies should be visually appealing, at least!

I know, just enough to get a cult following. The reason that everyone liked Donnie Darko was because of the Tears for Fears Head Over Heels song. They actually played the WHOLE thing . . . DURING the movie. I loved it, but that goes to show that the story sucked if they could put a WHOLE song in the middle of it. I hated DD also. Terrible. Just Terrible.
I also HATED The Departed, with Leo and Marky Mark. I really wanted to take the dvd, (that I had borrowed, I am so glad I didn't buy it) find anyone who told the producer that it was a go, and cut his or her eyes off--with the dvd. I hated it even more because so many people couldn't see how bad it was. I was truly offended by it.

have to agree with rost in tlansration....I liked the making of that movie better than the movie itself :D

the movie that I disliked was Don't Look Now with Donald Sutherland.....
or another movie with similar ending was Burnt Offerings with Oliver Reed....
they had a great theme going then at the end, it seems they ran out of storyline, so they abruptly ended it....hate movies like that....

Napolean Dynamite...I can't even think of anything to say about it, it was just that bad *dry heave*

And for those who put American Beauty on the list...you suck.

Napoleon Dynamite is an awful movie for so many movies. The masses that love the film are truly idiots by my standards. The same goes for Borat, but not so much emphasis on the maturity of those who enjoyed it.

Can you say "Amelie"? hmm I just don't seem to get that movie...like the soundtrack though. owww and pretty much everything Dutch, hm except for "Ja zuster, nee zuster" ....wai wai, you try watching Turks Fruit, seriously...don't! I fell asleep halfway...and that while it's proclaimed to be the best Dutch movie ever...makes me feel sorry for my nation.

You hate movies with animals, so you must've hate KING KONG. That is one awesome animal! I hated Apocalypto. People said "Oh! It has so much violence and it's a Mel Gibson film!", so I thought it would be as jarring as "The Passion". Nowhere near . . . Aztecs were heartless and sick, but boring, really. Easy to say as long as I'm not under the knife, I guess.

Ocean's Thirteen, I was working at a cinema when it was released so I was watching the movie for free, but after half an hour I got so bored I decided to wait outside till the film ended. However all I heard around that time was 'That was the best one!' or 'Brilliant film, Brad Pitt looks so hot!', oh please, give me a break...
