Recently, I am right thrilled that a Canadian fighter took the welterweight title away from long time reigning Matt Hughes. George St. Pierre (Canadian fighter) is one of the most exciting fighters out there, excellent at striking, and a world class Brazilian Jui-jitsu fighter. If you can catch a video of him vs Matt Hughes (2nd fight), it's well worth it, although UFC is pretty quick on getting UFC videos taken down.

Other fighters that I hold in high regard, Dan Henderson, Murilo Bustamante, Fedor, Randy Couture, and Quinton Jackson.

Awesome to see a thread dedicated to one of the greatest sports today. While the UFC & Pride organizations deserve their due for bringing the sport to the limelight, I would highly suggest checking out some of the smaller Japanese org's such as SHOOTO, ZST, Pancrase, DEEP (which is actually a "feeder" org for Pride), etc. Even K1 has a MMA show that is very entertaining. Btw, the last UFC was by far one of the best & the next looks like it could be even better. Definitely a great time to be a kakutougi fan.

I like watch MMA, I prefer K-1, and i like Japanese team, like Sato yoshihiro, Genki Sudo, Kid Yamamoto etc. My favourite K-1 style is Muai Thai ^^

I love MMA, I know lots of moves.

The first forum I ever went on was MattHughes.com, It's a pretty cool forum, some cool people are there too..... like me.

GSP, Matt Hughes and BJ Penn are the best welter weight fighters imo.


Muay Thai is crazy too, my favorite Thai fighter is Buakaw Pramuk.

Anderson Silva is a great fighter too.

Glad that there are some mma fans here too.

Well, I just can't live a second without a MMA fight... Well i used to watch Bushido/UWFi... I loved that thing! Nobuhiko Takada, Kazuo Yamazaki, Gary Albright, Hiromitsu Kanehara... Do i really have to say more?
