The university had contacted me and informed me that the e-ticket will be sent by the travel agency not the university. Not very sure, my departure date is September 28. I think you should wait for the University to reply because it's a weekend right now, so maybe by this week you will receive your eticket.
Me too, but in my country, we don't need e-ticket to apply visa. I got visa already. Is there anyone that hasn't received his e-ticket or just me !!!!!

I will tell you guys that the university has changed my trip itinerary because it was a 3 days trip and 3 airlines so i guess it was hard to manage a trip like this, but now i have only 2 trips and 1 airline. Despite that, i am still waiting for the confirmation of my e-ticket.(always hhh)It seems a little bit late, but don't worry too much, everything will go well. Hello guys,
Is there any Tsukuba University Research student candidate that will take University Recommendation program? I heard that the documents we need to prepare for university recommendation program issued along December. Does anybody know an info about this?? I sure don't want to miss the application period.
Thanks
You should contact Tsukuba University, because for University Recommendation programs, these are "soft" deadlines (meaning they are set by the university themselves so that they have enough time meet MEXT's deadlines for the university to recommend). So please call or contact Tsukuba University by yourself, for something this "important" you should not rely on an internet post.
I expect that the deadline will be soon because they office staff will need to check documents, to meet their proposed interview schedules.
Good luck
Thank you for your advice. I already contacted University of Tsukuba about the required documents yesterday. However I still got no reply until now. I think I will email them again at Monday, so while waiting I was wondering does anybody know something about it or experienced it beforehand.
So I can assume that the university will make a screening internally first before they send the candidates to MEXT for the scholarship?
1) MONDAY
Depending on the last time you and emailed them-you might want to give it a rest. Give them a week to get to your email.
1) INITIAL SCREENING
It depends on the institution-most make two or three screens-applications don't need to be submitted from the University to MEXT until April.
But before they get there they need to be approved by several groups working reverse it's usually the faculty meeting ( this is a requirement ) and then before that is the internal meeting where things are actually approved, usually held a week before the faculty meeting, and then before that would be the admissions committee, and international exchange committee, and possibly a departmental committee depending on university.
So each university has a bunch of junk to do depending on their own set up but the requirement for the Ministry of education is not until April.
Hope that helps
But still don't wait too long as they have their own process and your prof has to meet HIS university deadlines / selection process.Yes, maybe it is better if I wait a little longer. I am just worried that I miss the deadline so maybe that is why I become too hasty, because it looks like my professor is also not so familiar with MEXT scholarship using University Recommendation so he asked me to look some info.
I see they will make a screening first before they submit it to MEXT on April, that makes sense. Thank you for your explanation.
