Hey~ How are you guys there? Any results yet? I'm at work so I can't check my personal email on the computer (and no, I don't have my own net on my phone/tab).

Well, I still didn't get any email from my professor yet.

official work time its end in japan, i think we need to wait until next week because Saturday and Sunday its week end so maybe until Monday we got the results its so hard waiting like this.
According to the link below, look like Monday and Tuesday are still in the golden week.
So we might have to wait a little bit longer than expected.

i don't want to be so pessimist but i think that people who don't get the scholarship doesn't get an email saying that you are failed so maybe we just failed and our professor doesn't want to tell us ??

But dude, seriously, I think even if we fail, our professors would tell us. Also, the "not receiving/not informed" thing was done by the embassy. I know, 'cuz that's what they did to me haha.

i already phoned my professor, he told me the results this year its so late from the past years, he don't know why but he asked me to be more patient and hope to get good news maybe Wednesday because starting from tomorrow until Tuesday its golden week again.

Did you all go through embassy recommendation before applying for university recommendation? From what i have known, we should at least good in japanese language to apply for university recommendation right? ^^ Wish you all the best and hope all of you get offered.

As for me, currently I'm applying for the University recommendation only. I don't think we must have good japanese language skill before applying for the scholarship, not really sure, maybe if you're applying for the program that's going to be taught in Japanese, but for international course which is taught in English, I don't think it's necessary.

I have applied Economics in Kyoto University. I have got Letter of Acceptance and University recommendation to MEXT. Now I am waiting for the official result. How many percentages will I get MEXT scholarship? Is there anybody knowing about it? Thanks for responding.
