Meta chief executive officer Mark Zuckerberg on Tuesday announced that third-party fact-checking will be replaced by users' "community notes," as is done on the X platform. Despite this global policy shift, Meta Platforms Inc.'s Japanese branch has confirmed the continued operation of its fact-checking function. The company stated there are "no immediate changes" planned for this feature, launched in September in collaboration with specialized media outlets.

I always wonder how many bodyguards he has? There must be thousands of Facebook users who really hate him , LOL.

Contrary to the owner of X, whom I find pretty repulsive, I have no negative emotions toward Zuckerberg. Not that I spend a lot of time on FB, but I'm worried that not vetting violent, hateful and dubious posts will lead to floods of undesirable content.
