I am having some problems with my Macbook Pro laptop when trying to read, write or give reputation on Jref. Here's what happens. If I log into Jref through Google (Safari) I can't get reputation to post or any replies I write to show or it says that I have to wait 120 seconds to post, when I haven't posted anything. Then my laptop gets "stuck" and I can't check new posts or anything else. It's very frustrating and I am just wondering if there is anybody out there who has an answer. It's odd because if I log into AOL and use them to get me to Jref all is ok, but I hate using AOL because it's unstable on my Mac and it tends to kick me out unexpectedly. Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? :?

Instead of just clicking on the reputation point icon, try using the Control+ click button and then open the link in a new tab. In this way you are able to give rep points.

I only have problems with posting double so now and then, so that I have to edit my posts all the time... very annoying indeed.

Okay, I am going to show my lack of computer knowledge, what is the Control+ click button? 😊:o Sorry, I am really new with working on a Mac.

He means to hold down the control key on your keyboard and then click with your mouse.

This will bring up a context menu where you can open the link in a new tab.
