Looking for my biological father

I'm all the way from south africa, Cape Town. Looking for my biological father in Japan okinawa. I dont know where to start I only know his name.
He worked on sea. I have tried everything with no luck.

Hi thank you for welcoming me to the page.
Unfortunately I don't have much. It's been years, he worked on seas for a long time. My mom passed away so she couldn't give me more information. His name is Masihiko (not sure of the spelling) and he stays in Japan, Okinawa . Any information would be amazing!

Years back. She passed away when he was on sea. Im now 30 and I saw him when I was 6 years old.
