Looking for Japanese medical help PLEASE

I am desperately trying to get in contact with a Japanese doctor who can also speak English. My mom has pulmonary fibrosis and Japan has the only medicine in the world currently approved for the treatment of this fatal disease. My mom is dying and the FDA won't approve this med for 6 months still...The medicine is called Pirespa. If anyone knows of someone who can help me, I would be eernally grateful. This disease killed Marlon Brando and Robert Goulet...this medicine can save my mother's life. Thank you

The pharmaceutical company manufacturing it in Japan:
Shionogi & Co.

I think it's the safest to inquire with this manufacturer on how a foreign national can receive drug administration.

Its website also had a link to a PDF list (as of October 2009) of medical institutions in Japan offering Pirespa, although the manufacturer warns that these institutions do not necessarily prescribe the drug to every patient seeking it.

Thank you for your post...unfortunately I have that info, which is why I need to find a doctor in Japan so we can get this med for my mother. The US is very slow getting medicines to the public, and this could easily save her life.

Did you see the PDF file? It is a list of hospitals prescribing the drug.

Yes, though I don't read Japanese. I really need a doctor who would be willing to help us get this medication. There are as many people diagnosed with PF each year as breast cancer...and yet we can't get this medicine in this country??? I need a miracle
