It is simple that your govenment has never apologised or compensated what your solders did in Vietnam.
It must be a joke if all Koreans are sorry for the war like junjunforever said. Tell me why you do not give no official apolgy and compensation to the Vietnamese.

The Korean citizens participated in various campaigns on massacres in Vietnam; writing cards to apology through the coordination of KHIS and collecting contributions with Hankyoreh 21 to build schools and hospitals in Vietnam in districts that suffered the most damage. Through these

The Korean public opinion on this issue is shown below:
1. The real facts of the massacre should be publicly revealed 66.3%
2. There is a need to dispatch a fact-finding mission 66.9%

The funny thing is that you even try to compare what japan did to korea and what korea did to Vietnam. Korean soldiers, albeit wrong, shot the civilians because of the guerilla warware.
Japanese soldiers on the other hand, raped korea/philippino/chinese girls because they wanted to have sexual pleasure.
Two big differences really, and although you would love to group korean warcrime in the same boat as japanese warcrime, what korea did to vietnam pales in comparison to what japan did to east asia.

Excuse me? How could the lead of the military (Tojo) not have had anything to do with the military invasion and occupation of Korea?
And are you forgetting Itagaki, who was commander of the Japanese military in Korea? He is a Class-A war criminal, and has very real and definite link to Korea.

About the post war relations between Japan and your country...
It was your dictator who spent the money from Japan for your economic growth and kept it secret to the public for such a long time. Japan could not force your country to spend for the indivisual victims, though Japan suggested to do so...
I see some nationalistic Koreans claim your country had been founded before the end of WWII (as always, DPRK is monolithic to say that it was on Augst 15, 1945). If it has been true like they say, just research what former German supporting countries like Austria did after the war. It was lucky that your country had not won or lost the war, and that just indivisual Korean soldiers, not the country, faced the war criminal trials.

You know what. I am not even going to try to argue with you. The world, including the U.S. Senate, China, and all other asian countries except Taiwan all agree Japan's war crime is detestable, and japan has done nearly nil to admit the wrongdoing.
As the above post shows, any decently intelligent people laugh and look down on japanese people like you. How can you be so SHAMLESS? After killing and raping millions, how can u have the guts to be so SHAMLESS in your past acts?
Again, dont you find it ironic that Japan is so isolated in this war issue and practically nobody agrees or sides with japan.
