Katakana words question

Well... So I've been playing this really cool game called Devil Children for gameboy lately... and I pretty much could make english or whatever out of all the katakana there... But I had trouble with ' エリューズニル ' ... It seems to be quite popular in games with monster and stuff (at least what I've found on google...) I found out that リュ・ズ is a part of a watch ... but I'm not sure if that's appropriate in this phrase... also I've seen it on one fan page written like this : 'エリューズ ・ニル'

So yeah... It's a kids' game so it shouldn't really be too hard to figure it out for a japanese kid or something... that's why it bugs me ^^"

Any thoughts or help on that matter much appreciated!

Katakana transliteration is a bit too flexible, so it sometimes depends upon authors/writers.
For example, it was ジーフリト for Siegfried that a J translation of the Nibelungenlied which I read before. But ジークフリート sounds more common Katakana transliteration, I suppose.

Like you said, it is just a game stuff, maybe fantasy one?, so the person took エリューズニル as a name, I mean, エリューズ for its first name, and ニル for its last one. Then s/he added ・ between them.

Well... It's a place in the game... and written together as 1 word in the game... so I don't know... but it gotta mean something I guess... Maybe somebody has an idea at least
