Also, why are they saying that Japanese people having fewer children is a bad thing? In America we worry about the population getting too high. Japan's population is already so high, it might not be a bad thing for it to go down a bit.

The reason is because the old dont die, because of today's medicine and technology people live longer but does not nessessarily mean they can do more. People that are to old to work are living a very long time and someone has to support them. With fewer Japanese people being born it is feared that sometime soon there will be to many old people to support with the current population of money/goods producers.

Secondly but not really spoken of due to causing offence is the fact that people from poorer countries coming to Japan for work and also the increaseing number of Chinese and koreans going over to Japan means that Japanese people may become a minority in there own country.
A very similar thing is happening in England at the moment. It is infact predicted that within the next 40 years British people will become the minority in there our own country. British people do reproduce more however will the amount of immigration and the speed at which they breed we will indeed become a minority.

I think these are the two reasons why this is feared.

There's a big problem with your thinking there. This may not be the case in Japan, but in Britain or America, those immigrants eventually become citizens and are no different from the original British or Americans, so how does that create a minority? It's just adding to the majority. My family (as well as almost every other) immigrated to this country. Am I an outsider? Last time I was in England I saw a lot of non-white people who I'm sure considered themselves to be British and would be a little offended by your statements.

However, I can see why the Japanese might fear this since it's not as easy for outsiders to assimilate in Japan.

I see your point here and i really dont mean to cause offense but what these newly made british citizens that have immigrated call British and what people born from generations of British people call British are two differnt things.

I think it may not be so easy for outsiders to assimilate in Japan however Japanese people have more rights when it comes to stating what they think about foreign people.

British people are not so freely allowed to state there opinions on this matter which destroys the freedom that we claim to have.

Dont get me wrong i do not mean to sound racist here but i would not consider someone of the now Ethnic minority to ever be British even if they were born in this country and i think many real British feel the same way. In this way we will soon be the minority even if it is wrong for us to say so.

Times change and so does the population of a country over time.

You think it makes a country freer if it's socially accepted to bad mouth foreigners?

Someone born in the country?! Yeah, that's racist! They're citizens and they've spent their entire life there. What more do you want? Oh, they have to be white.

In this way we will soon be the minority even if it is wrong for us to say so.
This is not how it works in America and I really don't think you speak for the majority of your countrymen either. I get the impression Britain is more open to immigration than that (at least I hope so).

I know you're not trying to be offensive, but what you're saying would be highly offensive to a non-white person who has considered England (or wherever) their home for their entire life. You seem like a reasonable enough person and I think you need to check your thinking on this.

Ask a few british people if they want to lower or raise immigration. I think it will generally find the answer of lowering it. It is a big political issue at the moment with the election comming up.

We dont really have a problem with all foreigners though just those that dont pull there weight and want something for nothing. Sadly this is quite a few and these people i cannot accept to be british. Those that do add to the country however and do pull there weight i am more then happy to accept.

Perhaps. But I think deep down everyone wants a good relationship with the right person. It's just that people either get impatient or think it can't happen for them.

I think so to, I dont nessesarily think it comes with age as stated later on, i have been in 2 very stable relationships that have spanned years. Im only 19. I myself get impatient though, i think this is something that comes with age and experience. In your early life you need to explore.

Tim, im from scotland, a part of britain, i was born and lived in england for the first 8 years of my life, and to be honest, a brit is a brit, a nationality isnt a colour or race, its an ideology, its a dream, a thought, an ambition, be it white domination or a utopia for all.

when and if i marry my japanese girlfriend we will live in the UK (we've both long since agree'd japan isnt really a place to stimulate the emagination and curiosity of our children) and would like our children to grow up here....they will be half japanese...but being born here, being half british, they will be just as british, even my wife will be british by marriage, because i was born here, and she believes in britain as any native would (though she likes america too....and canada and finland...and danemark... :? )

alot of white british are increasingly intermarrying into ethnic minorities (who are still legally british) so its hardly correct to state that the successive genetic lines of britons since the first arrived here in the long forgotten past are somehow irraversably broken (too early for correct spelling, leave me alone 😭 ) its simply the natural change that nature adheres to.

maybe your young tim, or not, but barr opening the flood gates and accepting every illegal that we can squeeze into our fair and fine land, a black briton is no more different then a white briton, and who knows, maybe that black briton will marry the white briton and have little mixed ethnic britons 😄

i know i will be looknig forward to my role in "diversifying" the sepctrum of british people 😎

back on original topic, i feel for ya kirei, and hope you find your mans lost labido, god know's, i hang on mine too dearly to loose it so easily.

thats actually a good point cicatriz, for the short term it might be handy, but there's still the issue of getting the man to step up!, i mean, im going to expect a dulling of my Sexman™ senses as my manly hormones guide me to a premature death, leaving a weeping widow, but goddamnit, its my duty to provide! 😏

i dont think the 95% is a scientificly sound statistic, dont get me wrong, in the west were definatly more sexually open and active but....i'm nothing like that, and most people arnt, sure we dont have arranged marriages to take all the effort out finding someone but we can still do it.

the problem is is that sexual attraction, and that very specific way of showing your affection with someone is just a fact of life, its a constant of human nature, i love my girlfriend, i want to marry her and grow old with her and i only have eyes for her (barr the odd glance at an attractive woman, and then being made to sleep on the sofa that night 😌 ) but that still doesnt change the fact that sex with her is one of the most important ways of sharing myself with her, not just the nitty gritty deed of it, but the events that occur around it, the whispered declarations of love and affection, the intimate physical contact, and finally, in a less romantic setting, simply that sexual release all humans need =/.

i liked that quote "sex is only 10% of a marriage but its the FIRST 10% " because it really rings true i feel in so many ways.

most of us here are young men and women, and in our relationships we give and we receive, but in our age range, in a marriage, you know somethings terribly wrong when a couple havnt had sex in such a long time, if ever within a marriage, at our age, sex is simply a way to confirm the relationships integrity, you might think based on that relationships are shallow, but think about it seriously, whats more beautiful then a young man and woman in love, sharing themselves with each other?....it feels anything but shallow when im with my g/f.

rant over 😌

P.S. i feel sorry for that japanese woman who hasnt got any EVER, even inside the 14 years of her marriage ☝
