Not sure of source or accuracy. I think the average American male is a cm taller than it says.

6'5" is huge by Japanese standards. Stuff in Japan isn't made for people who are over 6' tall, you'll be bumping your head on everything until you get used to it.

What can I say? Japananimation has warped me beyond the point of help. So has Dead or Alive. Still even manga females are taller that me! The world is so cruel even in art and animation!

well i was in france where everything was small (my bed was 1 foot shorter then me and so was my blanket )

Actually there quite a few tall japanese men, my friends husband was about the same height as me. So I didn't feel to awkard but there is a picture my gf took of me standing shibuya and there are nothing but shoulder height japanese around me looks hilarious. I have to post it.
