Japanese update

So I finally started to actually, y'know, take notes during my Japanese lessons. I know, I know, hold the applause, but yeah. Imma post my notes, and uhm, yeah, tell me how I'm I guess.

Great progress! When you write kanji with a left and right part, take care to make them together as a unit. Sometimes on your notes, the right part looks like it's intended to be its own kanji.

Not sure if you can find it anywhere. I have a book "Read Japanese Today" by Len Walsh. It has a little history of each Kanji and how it came about that helped me remember them better. I have to confess , when I was in Fukuoka , almost everything had English and Japanese writing , so I didn't need Kanji hardly at all. Because the town had been loaded with American military people for so long , English was everywhere. I see it's for sale used on the internet for around 5 or 6 bucks.

Okay in Duolingo it says "Aoi kutsu wa chotto" means "I don't really like blue shoes, but different places will tell me it says, Blue shoes are kinda… implying you don't like them but not directly saying it. To directly say it, would it be, "Watashi wa aoi kutsu ga suki janai desu"?
