Well, I liked the bit about apple juice. But I don't like Naruto, so it left me a bit cold.Hey everybody, This place has always been the authoritative source of info in anything Japanese for me. So recently I've decided to start teaching Japanese through anime on YouTube and this is the first installment .
And since the people here are the best of the best, I thought you guys might be able to tell me how I could improve?Or if you like it?
I learn something new today.
Kuso ha, watashi wa ie ni imasu
Hmm, the first thing you teach is how to curse wow thats useful.. Seriously if you want to teach Japanese through anime or whatever then maybe you should do simple stuff like how to say your name etc, talk about why you use what you use in the sentence, grammer points and the like and build up from there. For people who are wanting to seriously learn Japanese teaching them how to curse is kind of useless at a beginners stage and besides that its just not a good idea in general to teach swearing imo.

Here's my idea how you could improve your video:
Instead of using those words just with animated comics like Naruto, do some skits with actual Japanese people. Get one of these "best of the best" web forum guys, and have them shout insults at real Japanese people. Then we'll be able to see how effective all these insults are in real life.
I can confirm that. I have a page of "Japanese insults" on my web page below and you'd be amazed how much search traffic it gets. Here are a few of the search terms from the last week:Aww thats great! I'm glad i could help you learn something new!
Thanks soo much for you advice!
I was trying to think up something to get peoples attention for my first video, also since exclamatory's are usually used by themselves out of a sentence. They are very easy to pick out and are one of the first things people usually learn about Japanese (unfortunately...)

Though 1 thing Ken, I didn't find the toilet humor very pleasing.
i know your being helpful and such, But i doubt some of the stuff was just unneeded.
I thought it was funny! My only problem with it was the music volume. I sometimes found it difficult to hear what you were saying, but could hear the music perfectly. Maybe try to tweak that in future videos. :]
The background music doesn't work at all, it would be much better without it.Hey everybody, thanks again to everybody who commented and gave their advice! I really really appreciate it!
And taking into consideration some of the more imperative suggestions I've made part 2!
The link is again in my sig for anybody who is still willing to give me their advice or just wants to take a look
I unfortunately wasn't able to take all the suggestions made here, because by the time received them I already had started on part 2. But I will continue to improve upon what you guys so kindly recommended in upcoming videos!
Thanks again everybody!
I don't think 窶堋ソ窶堋・ is a "cuss word". Also, you've got the meaning slightly wrong.
