Japanese Sentences Translations

This is a long list, kind of.

If you don't feel like translating them all into Japanese, translating just one would be helpful. Domo

I weigh about __ pounds.

I am about __ inches/cm tall.

I like watermelon, strawberries, grapes, kiwi, and basically all other fruits!

I also like pizza.

My preferred drink is water.

I like chocolate ice cream, too!

My least favorite season is winter.

I hate the cold!

I like flowers, sunny and rainy days!

I like cool and hot weather.

I have many hobbies.

I like playing the guitar.

I like going on the Internet.

I like studying Japanese.

I like martial arts.

I like playing video games sometimes.

And, I like theme parks!

Sukina is much more commonly used. (Maybe konomi sounds a little bit out-of-date-ish though it is still much in use...)

And if you want to use "konomi" before noun, then it should be not "konomina" but "konomino".
The word "konomi" (favourite, taste) is more often used as noun.

e.g.
Kono iro wa watashi no konomi ja nai.

Yes, thanks undrentide. The two somehow became strangely intertwined. I was thinking at the same time I wrote that a way to say the same thing using konomi and all I could manage was after the noun, like this. Which is probably very odd...

私の飲み物の好みは、みずと訳するのが間違いないでしょうか？

Hehe, do you really like to study ?!

It sounds somehow better (more emotional maybe) with のが好き to get more of that nasal ん sound : 日本語を勉強するのが好きです。

It sounds somehow better (more emotional maybe) with のが好き to get more of that nasal ん sound : 日本語を勉強するのが好きです。

Well, that was one of the sentences they wanted to be translated, and I thought I knew how to say it. When I wrote it I checked in with Doinkies and she said it was an ok sentence (well at first I like the "ga" lol ) But alright ^^

And yes, I personally love to study (well, Japanese, and other languages, but that's it xD)

It's OK. I think のが is definitely more common, though. I love to study too. Not even other languages. Just Japanese. And lately, that means listening to a lot so I don't actually have to write or say very much myself.

Hmm, sorry but it does not sound right to me. Maybe
私の好みの飲み物は水です but it still is awkward...

I think that normally people only use 好き, 好み is more commonly used as
one's taste:
私の好きな飲み物は水です。
ミネラルウォーターが好きですが、
炭酸入り（のミネラルウォーター）は好みではありません。
for example.

As for 勉強することが and 勉強するのが, the difference is just the former is more formal than the latter.
You may hear ～のが far more often than ことが simply because the casual expression is used in daily conversation and informal writing such as a blog.

ええ～～～～～っ？！軍隊？政府？

～（する）ことが好きってそんなにかたい表現ではありませんよ？
ごく普通に使うと思いますけど。（とくに、書き言葉の場合には。）
ただ、「こと」を漢字で「事」と書くことは殆どないように思います。

エリザベスさんはどうしてそんなふうに感じたのかなあ…

涼しくての天気が好きです。 Or use と?

Watashi no motto mo (ichiban) sukijanai kisetsu wa fuyu desu.

I hate the cold!

私は寒いのが（は）嫌いです。
Watashi ha samui no ga (wa) kirai desu.

I like flowers, sunny and rainy days!

花、そしてお天気の日と雨の日が好きです。
(Hana, soshite otenki no hi to ame no hi ga suki desu.
