I got an issue with my Japanese keyboard on Windows. When I'm switching back and forth to English using the keyboard shortcut "shift + caplocks", occasionally I'll get stuck with FULL WIDTH English and it's super annoying. Does anyone know why this is happening and how can I fix this?

thanks

I didn't even know shift+caplocks is a thing. I always use alt + back-quote. Maybe "full-width alphanumeric" is getting set somehow? You could also try re-installing the Japanese IME.

Wolf,

You may need to reinstall your software. I also wonder if you have a key that sometimes gets stuck.

If you have a Japanese keyboard you should also have a 半角/全角 漢字 key in the upper left. try that key. also left of spacebar is a key to switch from full width to half width katakana like コンコン
