Funny I don't see these real often but I ran across another one. What are your thoughts on this flag? Thanks.

I got a translation but its not complete.
American souvenir.

埼玉縣大里郡藤澤村産業會
Saitama Prefecture, Ōsato County, Fujisawa Village Business/Industry Association

アメリカ兵隊サン萬歳***
American soldier, Banzai [can't read the rest]
{or "Banzai! to Mr. American Soldier ***}
Looks like this one is made after the war by Japanese for the American souvenir trade.

I will type in the equivalent modern kanji...it's more effort than I wish to exert to type the original kanji.

For the first image, the left states
アメリカ兵隊サン万歳

The right states
埼玉県大里郡藤原村産業会

Don't know if it's "real" or not, but it's from after the war, without question.

That is what I came up with. I was hoping I found an original pre war without question. Getting hard to find one.

Looks like you beat me to it! (Edit: Twice!)

I would postulate that the light black marks below the text on the left might be the ink from the text above bleeding onto the cloth of the flag while it was folded up.
